DIY Pages
📄 DIY Page Plugin · User Guide
1. Plugin Overview
"DIY Page" is a visual plugin designed to help merchants freely build store landing and campaign pages.
No coding knowledge or designer dependency required—simply drag and drop your prepared images, text, and products onto the canvas like building blocks to create a standalone page that perfectly matches your brand identity. Whether it's a mega sale campaign, a brand story page, a holiday landing page, a new product launch, or a multi-language special feature for overseas markets, you can now build it all yourself without waiting for developer resources.
The entire user experience is completely consistent with the "Storefront Homepage Design" module—if you know how to customize your homepage, you already know how to use this.
2. Core Features (Including Multi-Language Support)
Each DIY page has its own independent URL and content, completely isolated from one another. Multiple campaigns and features can be live at the same time.
Select a block from the left panel and drag it onto the right canvas. Click to edit text, swap images, or change links instantly; see changes live without repeatedly saving and refreshing.
Carousels, image-text banners, single/multi-image layouts, product lists, brand walls, rich text, category navigation... any block available for the store homepage can be used here to create endless combinations.
Deactivate pages anytime to hide them from customers while keeping them accessible for internal editing and previewing. Relaunch with a single click.
Content Localization: Page titles and SEO metadata (Meta title/description/keywords) can be configured separately for each language.
Automatic Visitor Routing: Pages automatically display localized content based on the customer's browser language.
11 Admin Languages: Supports Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, and Russian. The dashboard language automatically matches the administrator's preferences.
Configure dedicated Meta titles, descriptions, and keywords for each page to optimize search engine indexing, making it ideal for marketing landing pages.
External URLs follow a clean format: yourdomain.com/link/page-alias (e.g., shop.com/link/summer-sale). Short, memorable, and perfect for ads, QR codes, and social media.
3. Admin Dashboard Features
Log in to your admin panel and navigate to the left menu: "Design" → "DIY Pages" to get started.
| Action | Description |
|---|---|
| 📋 Page List | View all DIY pages at a glance: check titles, URLs, statuses, and creation/update times with straightforward management options. |
| ➕ Create Page | Set up a URL alias, configure titles, and enter SEO metadata for each language to deploy a new page in seconds. |
| ✏️ Edit Info | Modify page titles, update SEO fields, or toggle deployment statuses at any time. |
| 🎨 Visual Designer | Access the editor workspace: drag components from the left panel, preview live updates on the right, and save to publish. |
| 👁️ Live Preview | Click the "Preview" button in the admin panel to view the layout exactly as a customer would, without needing to switch tabs or links. |
| 🗑️ Delete Page | Permanently remove obsolete pages. Associated design data and multi-language records will be cleaned up automatically. |
| 🔐 Fine-Grained Permissions | Five distinct permissions—"View List / Create / Edit / Delete / Design"—can be assigned to different roles. Marketing teams can focus on layouts, admins manage page cycles, and support staff retain view-only access. |
4. Storefront Display & Performance
Customers can access pages directly via yourdomain.com/link/page-alias. For example:
https://shop.com/link/summer-sale —— Summer Mega Sale Page
https://shop.com/link/brand-story —— Brand Story & Culture Page
https://shop.com/link/new-arrivals —— New Product Launches
The system renders all configured blocks seamlessly into the storefront theme, maintaining visual consistency with your homepage;
It automatically detects visitor language preferences and switches titles and SEO information seamlessly for global marketing;
Disabled pages return a 404 error externally, keeping your drafts completely hidden from customers;
Fully responsive across mobile and desktop devices, delivering a smooth shopping experience on both phones and computers.
5. Use Cases
Build immersive, high-conversion landing pages for Double 11, Black Friday, or Mother's Day, and route all your marketing traffic here.
Share your brand origins, design philosophy, and team journey to foster customer trust and long-term loyalty.
Create a dedicated showcase for upcoming collections featuring high-res imagery, videos, and initial product drops.
Launch exclusive pages for co-branded partnerships, styling the content separately from the main store to highlight the collaboration.
Introduce loyalty perks via text and image layouts, combined with specialized product feeds to drive high-value conversions.
Design a page once; global buyers will automatically view it in their native languages to support international expansion.
Set up entry points for flash sales, inventory clearance, or lucky draws in minutes, then deactivate them effortlessly when finished.
Quickly assemble text-heavy pages for policy updates, shipping guidelines, or FAQs using the rich text component.
6. Important Considerations
⚠️ Avoid changing the alias once it is linked to active ad campaigns or QR codes, as modifications will break existing links and result in 404 errors.
Disable: Suspends public access while keeping the page data intact for easy reactivation later.
Delete: Permanently wipes out all layout arrangements and multi-language records with no recovery option. ⚠️ For critical pages, it is best to disable them first before deciding to delete.
📌 Quick Reference: Front-End URL Structure
Example Standalone URL structure: https://yourdomain.com/link/page-alias. Every page automatically inherits global theme styles while adapting to multi-language settings.
You can easily copy links directly from the "DIY Pages" list in the admin panel for your marketing channels.
🛠️ Flexible Component Combination Examples
By blending multiple components together, a single landing page can simultaneously house brand content, trending products, campaign disclaimers, and clear checkout funnels to maximize marketing efficiency.
